Daily Classes at Pranamaya Yoga Nepal
At Pranamaya Yoga Nepal, we offer a full range of daily classes designed to support every level of practitioner, from beginners to experienced yoga practitioners. Our classes blend breath, movement, awareness, and relaxation to create holistic sessions that nourish body and mind. Mats and props are provided, and no prior booking is required for most drop-in classes. Each session is thoughtfully guided by experienced teachers who emphasize safe alignment, mindful transitions, and conscious breathing. Whether you are looking to build strength and flexibility, improve posture, reduce stress, or deepen your meditation practice, our classes provide a balanced and supportive environment for growth.
Hatha Yoga
A balanced, steady class focused on alignment, posture, and mindful movement. Hatha sessions provide a strong foundation for all levels, helping practitioners build strength, flexibility, and presence. Emphasis is placed on proper technique, breath awareness, and holding postures with stability and ease to cultivate both physical endurance and mental focus. Classes typically include gentle warm-ups, standing and seated postures, guided relaxation, and brief meditation, creating a complete and grounding experience. Suitable for beginners as well as experienced practitioners, Hatha Yoga supports improved posture, body awareness, and a deeper connection between breath and movement, fostering overall balance and well-being.
Vinyasa Flow
A dynamic style that links breath with movement, Vinyasa invites you to move with intention and awareness. These classes help improve stamina, coordination, and mindful awareness through fluid sequences that gracefully connect one posture to the next. Each movement is guided by the rhythm of the breath, creating a meditative flow that builds internal heat and energizes the body. Vinyasa sessions often include creative sequencing, sun salutations, standing and balancing postures, and a calming cool-down to restore equilibrium. Suitable for those seeking a more active and invigorating practice, this style enhances strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and mental clarity while encouraging focus and presence throughout the practice.
Restorative Yoga
Deeply relaxing and therapeutic, Restorative Yoga uses props and gentle, supported holds to calm the nervous system, release accumulated tension, and cultivate a profound sense of peace. Postures are held for longer durations with the support of bolsters, blankets, and blocks, allowing the body to fully surrender and the mind to gradually settle. This practice encourages deep rest and conscious relaxation, helping to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and restore overall balance. Ideal for all levels, including beginners and those recovering from fatigue or injury, Restorative Yoga serves as a powerful antidote to the demands of modern life, creating space for healing, renewal, and inner stillness.
Yin Yoga
Yin classes invite long, passive holds that gently target the deeper connective tissues, joints, and fascia of the body. By remaining in postures for extended periods, practitioners cultivate patience, awareness, and stillness. This slow and introspective practice improves flexibility and joint mobility while encouraging a meditative state of mind. Yin Yoga beautifully complements more dynamic styles and supports emotional balance, inner reflection, and deep release.
Pranayama & Breath-work
Dedicated breath awareness sessions designed to calm the mind, balance the nervous system, and enhance vitality. Through structured yogic breathing techniques, students learn to regulate and refine the flow of prana (life force energy). These practices improve lung capacity, mental clarity, and emotional stability while preparing the body and mind for meditation. Pranayama deepens consciousness of breath and strengthens the connection between inner awareness and physical well-being.
Meditation
Our guided meditation classes, inspired by the Himalayan meditative tradition, help settle the fluctuations of the mind, strengthen concentration, and foster inner calm. Through systematic instruction and supportive guidance, students develop practical tools for mindfulness and self-observation. Accessible to all experience levels, these sessions encourage clarity, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of inner peace that extends into daily life.
Yoga Nidra
A deeply restorative guided practice often referred to as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra leads practitioners into a state of conscious relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. This systematic method helps release deep-seated tension, calm the nervous system, and support emotional balance. Regular practice enhances restful sleep, improves mental clarity, and promotes holistic healing on physical, mental, and emotional levels.
Sound Healing
Meditative sessions using vibrational sound, chanting, and conscious listening to support inner harmony and deep relaxation. Through instruments such as singing bowls and subtle vocal resonance, sound healing creates a soothing, immersive experience that helps reduce stress, release emotional blockages, and restore energetic balance. These sessions beautifully complement yoga and meditation practices, offering a gentle yet profound pathway toward inner alignment and well-being.
